Meriel Larken
Director and Founder of The Yavari Project and holder of "La Orden al Mérito" for services to numerous social projects through The Anglo-Peruvian Society. With a family background of naval and maritime exploration she also has a wide knowledge of Peru (learned over 25 years), South America, tourism and PR.

Capitán Carlos Saavedra del Carpio
Formerly a Peruvian Naval officer bi-lingual in Spanish and English with an intimate knowledge of Lake Titicaca and the history of the Altiplano cultures. Joined the Yavari in 1992.

Chief Mechanic, ex Peruvian Navy. Bilingual in Spanish and Aymara, studying English. Joined the Yavari in 1987.
