The principal requirements involve the installation of additional bulkheads, emergency lighting, navigational and life-saving equipment. Install an auxiliary motor, all systems and extend superstructure and funnel to 1920's profile.

Stage 2:Furbish to accommodate day passengers.
Modernise the galley and install additional lavatories and washrooms.
Stage 3: Provide overnight accommodation by converting the hold space into comfortable double berths cabins, each with its own shower and wc. The YAVARI will then be equipped to cruise around and across the Lake to Bolivia.
